Fantastic Fest | Alamo Drafthouse | September 18-25, 2014

Fantastic Fest is the largest genre film festival in the U.S., specializing in horror, fantasy, sci-fi, action and just plain fantastic movies from all around the world. In years past they have presented the world premieres of THERE WILL BE BLOOD, APOCALYPTO, CITY OF EMBER, ZOMBIELAND, and GENTLEMEN BRONCOS, while the guest roster has included such talent as Mel Gibson, Bill Murray, Dolph Lundgren, Jemaine Clement, Paul Rudd, Bill Pullman, Paul Thomas Anderson, Kevin Smith, Jon Favreau, George Romero, Darren Aronofsky and Mike Judge. The festival also features world, national and regional premieres of new, up-and-coming genre films. Fantastic Fest is held each year at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Austin, Texas. The Alamo Drafthouse was named the best cinema in America by Entertainment Weekly and features food and drink served to your seat without any disruption of the movie experience.

The H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival®-Los Angeles returns for the fifth year at the exquisite art deco Warner Grand Theatre in historic San Pedro on September 26, 27, and 28, 2014. Three days of movies, music, art, literature, and games adapted and inspired by master weird tale author H.P. Lovecraft. Feature films: Die Farbe (The Colour), The Creature from the Black Lagoon. Short films: August Heat, Return to Innsmouth, The Shadow Over Innsmouth. Special events: Cthulhu Smash-Up game, Dark Adventure Radio Theater presents The Shadow Over Innsmouth.

Montreal Horrorfest | Montréal Comiccon | September 12-14, 2014

Montreal HorrorFest is a 3 day Horror film festival/convention that take place during and inside the Montreal Comiccon in Montreal, Canada. The Festival will be filled great guest, screening and panels. Based on similar popular conventions held throughout North America, the Montreal Comiccon offers a lot more than just a three days film Festival and a way to meet famous guests. It is also a great place to discover independent artists and their creations, hundreds of merchants selling rare comic books, exclusive toys, pop culture-inspired apparel, well-established companies in the industry and other great surprises along the way.
