MISSION STATEMENT:
The Deep Red International Festival of Fantastic Film was just an idea that began over an email correspondence between its creators, Shade Rupe and Chris Bavota. The fact that it became a reality is proof enough that anything can happen.

For 2009, DRIFFF’s first year, it was decided that doing it in one city would be a challenge, and doing it in TWO cities would be near impossible. So we opted for the two city idea. DRIFFF will take place on April 24th & 25th in Portland, Oregon, at the Clinton Street Theatres and on May 8th & 9th in Seattle, Washington, at the Grand Illusion Cinema.

We have a great lineup of films, including Frank Henenlotter’s BAD BIOLOGY, David Gregory’s PLAGUE TOWN and Jonathan Lewis’ BLACK DEVIL DOLL.
