MISSION STATEMENT:

FILM SCREENINGS / SPECIAL EVENTS:
Dark Carnival has become known for presenting a variety of live entertainment and indie horror films, and 2010 promises to be our best year yet.

This year, Dark’s Grand Guignol Theatre, a truly unique blend of cinema and live horror entertainment, is proud to present a follow-up to our 2009 smash hit Bloomington After Midnight.

Presented in an intimate venue, the audience becomes a part of the backdrop in which live gore effects and fast-paced storytelling promise a shocking experience that ends at the stroke of midnight.

Last year’s production sold out all three shows to standing-room-only crowds, and 2010 promises to be even bigger and bloodier!

The festival continues throughout the weekend, with a “Rave to the Grave” Dance Party, celebrity guest appearances, a horror-themed art exhibit, vendor/merchandise area, and a VIP banquet/afterparty.

Most importantly, Dark Carnival will be presenting over 30 of the best independent horror films from around the world – two days worth of screenings – at the historic Buskirk-Chumley Theater in downtown Bloomington, IN.

GUESTS:
This year's master of ceremonies is none other than film critic, actor and horror host Joe Bob Briggs (Comedy Central/The Daily Show; USA Network/Monstervision)

Additional Celebrity guests TBA.

VENUE(S):
The historic Buskirk-Chumley Theater, a 1930s-era movie theater with state-of-the-art digital projection on a 30 by 20 foot screen.
