THE BIGGEST DAY IN HORROR BUFFALO HAS EVER EXPERIENCED!
Herschell Gordon Lewis, "The Godfather of Gore," will be on hand to screen 2,000 MANIACS and receive a Lifetime Achievement Award!
Roy Frumkes (STREET TRASH, THE SUBSTITUTE) will premiere the rough cut of his new DEFINITIVE DOCUMENT OF THE DEAD, the expanded version of his chronicle on the career of George A. Romero! First time anywhere!
Rod Gudino, publisher of Rue Morgue magazine, will screen his award winning short film, THE DEMONOLOGY OF DESIRE!
Tom Holland, the director of FRIGHT NIGHT and CHILD'S PLAY, will join Frumkes and Gudino for a special panel discussion on making horror films!
Other guests include scream queen Melantha Blackthorne (BANSHEE) and stuntwoman Cheryl Quiacos ("Zombie Zero" in Romero's new DIARY OF THE DEAD)!
BUFFALO NICKEL PRODUCTIONS & NIGHTMARE KINETICS will present a special introduction video of motion graphics, upcoming BNP/NK feature trailers plus a titles demo.
David Gray of Gray Effects will conduct a seminar on Special Make-Up Effects, and local filmmaker Greg Lamberson will introduce a 20th Anniversary screening of his midnight movie cult film SLIME CITY, with cast member T.J. Merrick!
Short films start at 11:00 AM, and SLIME CITY goes on at Midnight
