The modern age of digital filmmaking has flooded the market with tons of films, especially horror films, one indistinguishable from the next. This is your chance to prove your film's worth. Feature and short, slasher, ghost story, zombie, horror-comedy, suspense, and horror documentary films are accepted. So submit your film to be seen by some of the industry's top professionals in the center of film making for the southeast. Awards are to be given based on various categories for the best films screened at the festival. Our film festival is operated and judged by the people who bring you Splatter Cinema and The Silver Scream Spook Show in collaboration with various local filmmakers.

The Halloween season is here and now in our third year we've decided its time to go much bigger with the festival. That means bigger bands, bigger movies, vendors, contests, parties, special events, larger Zombie Walk, the list goes on!
But the most exciting part of it all, we now have the Masquerade booked for the festival. That's three levels of bars, stages, screens, patios, etc. Housed in a turn-of-the-century mill building, and often claimed to be haunted. there couldnt be a more amazing place for an event like this. The Masquerade has been known since its inception in 1989 as one of the country's most unique nightclub facilities. Also for all you younger fiends out there...we're now ALL AGES!!!
