Night Visions Film Festival is the biggest and the oldest festival in Finland to focus on horror, fantasy, science fiction and action cinema.   The festival is arranged twice a year in the heart of the city of Helsinki, the capital of Finland. The Spring edition takes place in April and the Fall edition around the Halloween celebrations in October/November.   The annual lineup of the festival consists of a total of roughly 60-65 feature films.

Established by MooDude Films CEO / Producer / Director / Michael J. Hein in 2001. The NYCHFF is a week long event that takes place each November at venues throughout New York City. The NYCHFF has grown to be a world recognized event, with industry, filmmakers, and press attention from around the globe.The Hein Family is committed to keeping the festival alive in memory of the truly missed and loved founder Michael J Hein. The festival is competitive, screening approximately 50-60 films each year.

Ithaca International Fantastic Film Festival - November 12-16, 2014

The Ithaca International Fantastic Film Festival (IIFFF) will present its 3rd edition from November 12 to November 16. This year’s retrospective will focus on Witchcraft in Popular Imagination, in collaboration with the Johnson Museum of Art’s exhibition: Surrealism & Magic. As part of this retrospective, a cinema concert of Christensen’s Haxan: Witchcraft through the ages (1922) with an original score by the New York based band Transit, will be held in Cornell University’s Sage Chapel. In parallel of the festival, three days of concerts will be held every night as well as a Fantastic Art Show organized by comic book artist Steve Ellis. With a selection of 30 feature films and documentaries, from all over the world, concerts and an art show, the IIFFF’s fans will get a privileged, and comprehensive view of the best of 2014 in Fantastic culture!

Horror-Rama! Toronto | November 1-2, 2014

Horror-Rama is a new two-day fan event happening in Toronto, Canada on November 1st and November 2nd, 2014. The brainchild of Fango Editor Chris Alexander and Toronto cult cinema institution SUSPECT VIDEO (owned and operated by Luis Ceriz), HORROR-RAMA is niche convention, bringing together legends of horror cinema and dark pop culture for an intimate and interactive couple of days in the heart of the city. Guests include Barbara Steele and Nivek Ogre.

On Saturday, Sep 27th, from 1pm to 3pm, Full Moon Features founder and DELIRIUM Magazine publisher Charles Band brings a wild roundup of fabulous freaks, filmmakers and horror icons together to meet the fans and toast the release of the latest issue of DELIRIUM. Following on the unprecedented success of their previos “D-DAY OF THE B-MOVIES” parties celebrating the launch of the first 3 issues of DELIRIUM, the Full Moon gang will once more convene at the legendary Dark Delicacies (located at 3512 W. Magnolia Blvd in Burbank, California) for a crazy afternoon of star-studded fun.
